Red Line Equestrian Facility & Visitor Guidelines

Welcome to Red Line Equestrian! These guidelines are intended to help create a safe, organized, and positive environment for horses, riders, clients, visitors, and staff. By working together and following these expectations, we can ensure consistent horse care, safe facility use, and a positive experience for everyone.

These guidelines apply to all individuals entering or using the Red Line Equestrian property, including boarders, clients, lesson participants, clinic and event participants, visitors, guests, staff, and volunteers.

Facility Access & Visitors

Red Line Equestrian is a private training and boarding facility and is not open to the general public.

  • Access to the property is limited to boarders, approved clients, staff, participants, and invited guests.
  • Visitors and guests may only access areas appropriate to their visit and may be restricted from certain areas of the facility.
  • Visitors may be required to complete a liability waiver before entering the property.
  • Minors should be supervised unless other arrangements have been approved by management.
  • Boarders, clients, and event participants are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all facility guidelines.
  • Management reserves the right to restrict or deny access to the property when necessary for safety, security, horse welfare, or facility operations.

Horse Care & Health

  • Current Coggins and required vaccinations must be kept on file for horses participating in boarding, lessons, clinics, events, or other activities as required by management.
  • Horses should remain on an appropriate regular deworming and farrier schedule.
  • Horse owners are responsible for providing required feed, supplements, medications, and other necessary care unless otherwise arranged with management.
  • Horses may only be handled, moved, or cared for by individuals authorized by the owner or management when applicable.

Stalls & Storage

  • Horses must remain in their assigned stalls or designated areas unless approved by management.
  • Stalls, lockers, tack areas, and storage spaces should be kept neat and organized.
  • Items must be stored only in designated areas and may not obstruct aisles, walkways, doors, exits, or other shared spaces.
  • Permanent modifications to facility property are not permitted without prior approval from management.

Facility Use

  • Clean up after yourself and your horse, including manure, grooming areas, wash stalls, arenas, parking areas, and aisleways.
  • Return equipment, jumps, obstacles, and other facility property to their proper locations after use.
  • Do not leave personal belongings or equipment in shared areas.
  • Shared spaces must be left clean and ready for the next person.
  • Facility equipment and property must be used appropriately and may not be removed from the property without permission.
  • Follow all posted signs, instructions, and event-specific rules.

Horse Handling & Riding

  • Horses should only be tied in designated tie areas.
  • Riders are expected to work within their horse’s level of training and ability.
  • Jumping is permitted only during lessons, approved clinics, events, or with prior approval from management.
  • Riders and handlers are responsible for maintaining appropriate control of their horses.
  • Appropriate safety equipment must be used as required by facility rules, lesson requirements, or event-specific requirements.
  • Safety is always the top priority for both horses and people.

Generators & Quiet Hours

To help maintain a safe and respectful environment for horses, participants, and neighboring properties:

  • Generators may not be operated after 10:00 PM.
  • Generators must be shut off by 10:00 PM and may not be restarted until after the designated quiet period.
  • Exceptions may only be made with prior approval from management for specific circumstances.

Payments & Late Fees

  • All invoices and charges are due according to the payment terms provided by Red Line Equestrian.
  • A $10 per day late fee will be assessed beginning 24 hours after the bill’s due date until the outstanding balance is paid.
  • Management may restrict participation in lessons, clinics, events, or other activities if an account remains past due.
  • Additional costs or fees associated with a participant’s failure to meet payment obligations remain the responsibility of the person responsible for the account.

Personal Belongings & Abandoned Property

  • Individuals are responsible for keeping track of their personal belongings and equipment while on the property.
  • Items should not be left in common areas or outside designated storage spaces.
  • Personal belongings left on the property for more than 30 days after the individual is no longer using the facility or participating in an event may be considered abandoned and disposed of by management.
  • Red Line Equestrian is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or abandoned personal belongings.

Respect for the Facility & Community

  • Treat fellow boarders, clients, participants, visitors, staff, volunteers, horses, and property with respect.
  • Harassment, threatening behavior, unsafe conduct, excessive disruption, or intentional damage to property will not be tolerated.
  • Questions, concerns, and special requests should be communicated directly with management.
  • Individuals are expected to follow reasonable instructions given by management or staff regarding safety, horse handling, facility use, and event operations.

Trailer Storage & Parking

  • Trailer storage is available only with prior approval from management and must remain within designated parking or storage areas.
  • Trailers must be maintained in safe, operable condition and secured when not in use.
  • Vehicles and trailers must not block entrances, exits, fire lanes, access roads, gates, or designated working areas.
  • Temporary event parking instructions must be followed as directed by management.

Events, Clinics & Future Participation

Red Line Equestrian reserves the right to establish additional rules and requirements for individual clinics, events, shows, or other activities.

  • Participants and their guests are expected to follow both these facility guidelines and any event-specific rules.
  • Individuals who fail to follow facility guidelines, event rules, or reasonable instructions from management may be asked to leave the property.
  • Repeated, serious, or intentional violations may result in an individual being prohibited from attending future clinics, events, lessons, or other activities at Red Line Equestrian.
  • Management reserves the right to determine whether an individual’s conduct warrants restriction or denial of future participation.
  • Removal from an event or restriction from future events does not relieve an individual of any outstanding financial obligations.

Management & Policy Changes

Red Line Equestrian reserves the right to interpret and enforce these guidelines as necessary to maintain safety, horse welfare, and the proper operation of the facility.

Policies and guidelines may be updated periodically. Individuals using the property are responsible for following the current version of the guidelines and any additional instructions provided by management.

Acknowledgment

By entering or using the Red Line Equestrian property, individuals acknowledge that they have read and understand these guidelines and agree to follow them. For minors, a parent or legal guardian may be required to acknowledge these guidelines on their behalf.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the property, loss of facility privileges, financial responsibility for resulting costs or damages, or restriction from future participation in Red Line Equestrian activities.
