Small Groups. Focused Learning. Your Goals.

Mini Clinics are 4-hour, small-group learning experiences designed around a specific horsemanship or riding topic. Groups of 3–6 participants can get together with friends and request a clinic, or individuals can let us know what they are interested in learning and we can group participants with similar goals.

Because these are intentionally small, there is plenty of time for discussion, demonstration, hands-on work, and individualized coaching.

How It Works

Have a group of friends?

Get 3–6 people together, choose a topic, and contact us to schedule your own Mini Clinic.

Don’t have a group?

That’s okay! Tell us what you’d like to learn. When enough people are interested in a similar topic, we’ll put a group together and schedule a clinic.

Have something specific in mind?

You don’t have to choose from our list. If there’s a particular skill, problem, or subject you’d like to work on, let’s talk about it. The best clinic may be one built specifically around your group’s needs.

Problem-Solving Clinics

Sometimes the best topic is simply the thing you’re struggling with right now.

Does your horse:

  • Rush when leading?
  • Not stand at the mounting block?
  • Struggle to stand quietly?
  • Avoid the trailer?
  • Get anxious when separated from other horses?
  • Have trouble backing?
  • Resist being caught?
  • Fall in or out through a shoulder?
  • Get heavy in your hands?
  • Struggle with transitions?
  • Become tense or distracted?
  • Have a specific behavior you’re trying to understand?

Bring the problem. We’ll work through it together.

Have Your Own Idea?

You don’t need to know what to call your clinic.

Maybe you have a specific training goal. Maybe several of your friends are having the same problem. Maybe there’s a subject you’ve always wanted to understand better.

Tell us:

What are you trying to accomplish?

What are you struggling with?

What do you wish you understood better about your horse?

We’ll help turn that idea into a 4-hour Mini Clinic.

Gather Your Group
